EthyCalm is a vapo-coolant spray.

The active ingredient, ethyl chloride, rapidly evaporates when sprayed or wiped onto the skin.

The chilling effect of evaporation (-20ºC) de-sensitises the patient response.

The vapo-coolant is effective (in a few seconds) but the effect wears off quickly as the skin warms up again in a few minutes. This makes it suitable for such things as venepuncture, tick removal or placing of venous catheters.

The 75ml vial will provide over 100 applications.
